Anti-Jewish laws

  • No Jews are allowed to live in Spain (no non-Catholics)
  • All future kings must swear to uphold the anti-Jewish laws
  • 6th Council of Toledo had received a letter from the Pope (Honorius I) chastising them for being lax on the Jewish population; Bishop Braulio of Zaragoza sent him the proceedings of the 4th Council of Toledo.

Ortodoxia

Chintila seems pretty standardly orthodox. The anti-Jewish laws and his friendliness with the clergy are notable.
